One connector pool for the whole product
Connectors are live integrations with the tools your firm already uses — email, legal research, cloud storage, billing software. You authorise them once in Settings and they become available to Ask Sque, every workflow step, and Deep Research automatically.
Connectors are built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP) — an open standard for AI tool integrations. Sque ships a curated marketplace and also supports custom MCP servers for proprietary systems.

Point Sque at any MCP-compatible server your firm runs. Useful for proprietary databases, internal APIs, or niche legal tools.
Connect a tool in four steps

Go to Settings → Connectors (
/settings/connectors). - 2
Browse the Marketplace or click Add custom server.

Complete the OAuth flow (or paste the server URL for custom connectors).

Set your approval mode — auto-approve tool calls or require confirmation each time in Ask Sque.
Start with Gmail or Outlook — email context unlocks the most powerful research and drafting workflows immediately.
Where connectors are used

Important notes
If a connector's OAuth token expires, any workflow step or chat call that uses it will fail with a clear error. Re-authenticate from Settings → Connectors — it won't auto-retry past failures.
Connector access is per-user. Firm admins can see which connectors members have authorised but cannot use another user's credentials.
FAQ
Are connectors firm-wide or per-user?
OAuth credentials are per-user. A published workflow that uses Gmail runs under the credentials of whoever triggers it.
Can I restrict which tools Ask Sque uses?
Yes — in Settings → Ask Sque you can set approval mode to manual, which means Ask Sque asks before calling any tool.
Is there a limit on how many connectors I can add?
Marketplace connectors are unlimited on paid plans. Custom MCP servers may be plan-gated — check Settings → Subscriptions.
What happens to connector data?
Sque does not store connector payloads beyond the session window. Data passes through, it doesn't persist.
