Onboarding: From invite to first matter in minutes

Two-step onboarding — accept an invite or create your firm, then complete your profile and connect your first tools — guided by Sque with suggested first actions.

Step 1 — Welcome screen

The first screen after signing up asks one question: are you joining an existing firm or starting a new one? If you received an invite, your firm appears immediately — click Accept. If you're starting fresh, click **Create Firm**, enter your firm name, and hit **Create Firm** to continue.

You can be a member of multiple firms. Switch between them from the firm switcher in the settings sidebar.

Step 2 — Firm profile

After creating or joining a firm, a short profile wizard runs. It takes about 90 seconds.

  1. 1

Enter your full name and role (Attorney, Partner, Operations, etc.).

  2. 2

    Select your primary practice area.

  3. 3

Review three suggested first actions — import contacts, upload to Briefcase, or run a USPTO trademark search.

  4. 4

Click Get started — you land in Ask Sque with the suggested actions in a welcome card.

Run a trademark clearance search — a good first demo of Ask Sque with a Connectors workflow.
